I would second that advise, shock servicing is costly but best left to someone thats done them before.

I can do most anything to an engine or frame that needs doing, but shocks, thats something you need to know in detail about before you start taking them apart.
You should probably study up on the process of working on shocks first. Learn what they do & the parts of a shock on the insides & how to make the shock respond.

You might could go to some of the shock places web site & print off a service page.

I'm a works dealer & they faxed me a service sheet for the front rezzie stadium shocks, of course you know how a fax works, specially a carbon fax, only about half of it can be read that is if its fine print, but, biggest thing is making sure all presure is releaved before doing anything.
