So I picked up a tank for my 86 250r and while the black hose connects to the fitting below the rad cap, what’s the clear hose?? Is it just the breather hose?
My R didn’t have one when I bought it, so I’m not entirely sure.

When you mount the tank the elbow faces toward the back & that clear hose goes between the bottle mount & front grab bar mount than turns down & follows the lower rail of the sub-frame. When you look on the bottom of the sub-frame rail you'll see 2 wire hoops, that's where the hose goes.
