Trying to protect the new powder coat on the frame where I know my boots will rub, I found this tape by 3M, it’s available in clear and carbon. 1 inch by 60, and it’s 8 mm thick. I’m wondering if anyone used it and how you think it will hold up?

8 mil I believe.

buy a roll of clear "edge breaker" tape tape rub spots, and retape as needed.
