I ate some shit today on one of my jumps. I got extremely lucky, I was only wearing a helmet, didnt have goggle, gloves, boots, etc. My shoes flew off during the wreck and MY head hasnt quit hurting since. My head hit the ground extremely hard, thank god for good helmets is all I can say from this.

Damage: Broken spindle, broke clutch lever, bent grab bar and front bumper, bent steering stem, twisted and cracked subframe.
I ended up 120ft from where I came off the quad, and when I opened my eyes the quad was right next to me. This all happened in 4th pinned.

Thanks guys, and glad to see you made it over hitman. Im sure there is other damage as well. The axle and a couple wheels are probably bent. I wont know for sure till I get a new spindle on it and ride it.

i damaged pretty much all the same parts in a wreck, except it was in whoops. spindle broke while i was 4th pinned through the whoops. after that very bad things happened. steering stem, clutch perch, brake lines, frame, sub frame, wheel, and my head. you have my sympathy bro. B) glad your all right, no boots or chest protector, you could have gotten messed up a lot worse.

Im going to get my spare gussetted frame sandblasted and podercoated, then I can start switching everything over. I just hate thinking about how Im gona get killed on the nickel and diming. Im gona wanna replace every bushing and bearing, screws, polish the cases, etc. Ill probably be out of riding 4 or 5 weeks.

Ive got a track on my parents farm. I was hanging out with some buddies and we went up there and started hitting some smaller jumps for fun. One of my buddies suggested I hit the last double in one of the lines on the track. I have hit it a hundred times and didnt thik anyhting of it. I came flying around the first jump in 4th and cut in right before the second double which probably is only 50ft or so. The take off isnt steep, so I have to hit it real fast to clear it. I dont remember much about it because my head smashed the ground pretty hard, but know I landed sideways and came off the side of the quad and went flying, then the quad started barrell rolling after me. My friend called me last night and said "Dude!! I cant believe you survived that!!" "Your 250R landed on you like 3 times!!"

Let this be a lesson to anyone who doesnt buckle your helmets for every ride. When I wrecked my shoes flew off my feet (and they were tied tight) and my phone and everything in my pockets flew off of me. I have a red mark under my chin from where the strap kept my helmet on. I also have a bruise on the top of my forehead and side of my head which proves how hard I hit the ground.

Im bidding on a spindle on ebay right now and my spare frame is going tot he powdercoater this week. I hope to be riding again in 3 weeks.

Yep, buddys, it happens every time a bunch get together. Glad you turned out ok though.
When you leave school today & go outside going to UPS, look up in the sky & thank the good lord he spaired you, cause you could have left this world, only reason you didnt is because hes got some work for you to do, think about this.
Think about this as well, if it had been one of those buddys & they got hurt real bad that day, they could be owning that farm after the lawyers & court got through. Just something to think about.

I probably got a spindle, 86 model, right.
