I have 2 250r's setup for mx. First one is a lsr framed crf450r hybrid, roll design front end, 400ex spindles, adpater/250r brakes, no-link shock and swinger, Roll bumper, +1 aniti-vibe stem, hipers, lsr axle, carrier and anti-fade, fullbore plastics, elka shocks, walsh radiator and more.

My other is a 88 250r frame(2r's old one), new 88 swinger(it had 2r's pc'ed swinger), lsr +3+1 front end, +1 stem, lsr rear end, cr ignition, 310pv motor, 89 spindles/hubs, full bore plastics, afco radiator, hipers, and other minor stuff.

I also have a atc250r setup for mx, custom frame, pro-peg nerf, 450r master cylinder/pedal, +1 swinger, lsr rear end, short track tank kit, 310pv motor, cr ignition, cr 250r front master, inverted forks, 10" front rim, inverted forks and tripples are next and will use the cr rotor and brake.

I'm buying a t-pin front end +3+1, from a member on this site($ will be in the mail on monday), I'm not sure what it will go on. I already ordered the shocks for it, as both use 250r front suspenion. I'm building 2 mx trikes also, a short list of both is pro-peg nerfs, steering stabilzer, 450r brake parts, one will get inverted forks, one will use a 86 200x motor and the other a 05 crf450r motor.

If you haven't already, you should take an inch out of that stock 1986 swingarm. I bet you'd love it.

or you should get a stock 88 swinger, if you want to keep it cheap, since its a inch shorter, and a hell of a lot lighter
