I couldn't remember which thread the group ride discussion was on so I started a new one. Anyway, did anyone pick a date? Someone said they were going in April and Maniak said Memorial weekend. So what is the date in April and is that okay with everyone? I think it was ghost. Hope you don't mind if we crash your party. Will you guys be camping or staying in hotels?

Ya it was me. The wife and are going for the first time. Going to be the first week of April. We are planning on staying in a local hotel. One with a hot tub in the room, wife wants all the bells and wistles.. Going to stay for a week. Any one know of a good hotel close by??

The only hotel in Pismo that I know of with a hot tub in the room is the Sea Venture. It's right on the beach in downtown Pismo. Just a few miles from the dunes. Your wife will like it, but it won't be cheap. If you really want to impress her, they offer packages that include massage, spa treatment, etc.

I'm busy on the first two weekends of April. We'll have to try another time.

I am down any weekend for a pismo trip set a date and I am down. The first 2 weeks in May are bad for me I am making a trip out to little sahara. I have a 26 foot TT trailer that can sleep 5-6 comforably if anyone needs a place to stay. Plus I cant ride for a week or two till I fix my swingarm.

I'll check into that date. The 26th. I would probably only ride Saturday, maybe Sunday. Might be bring the wife and the old man too. My dad is 58, but he still rides pretty good.

I may try a day trip that weekend, we are going Memorial so I don't want to drag my 33ft toyhauler over for just a couple of days at $4.21 a gallon diesel and my ford only gets 11mpg with the trailer its too expensive. I will talk to my wife and see if she wants to go for the day, if not, it might be just me. I'll keep you posted.

Man I hear ya. I love my Duramax, but I'm hating it right now. I try not to go anywhere except work.

Hey guys. I'm not going to be able to make the Pismo trip this coming weekend. Too much stuff going on this time of year. Someone should post some pics and a ride report. Enjoy the trip!
