I love mine, it runs great. If only my 350 ran as good as my 275 I would be happy.
thanks guys anyone know which pv setup is the best? thought i read somewhere that esr was not as good as i think ct????? and how does this compare to my mildly ported .040 stocker?

Yea the pro x cylinder pv setups are better than the ESR but whos complaining?

I had a ported cyl before and once I switched to the 275 I could run a 1 tooth larger sprocket and had a better power spread. It wasnt a world of difference in speed that I could tell by the seat of my pants but it definitely had a better powerband all over. I would only go back to a non pv for drag racing. For all other riding give me a pv.

neil was stating the differences of the pv setups, but i think that was on another site. 1 of the brands was a bit better than another brand but i can't find the thread. I wonder if i should wait for the new sphinx cylinder??? anyone hear anything good or bad about them? thanx in advance

The old round Rotax valves worked the best, but you cant get those anymore, not on the Pro-x cylinders.
CT & ESR have their own design of valves & I'm not 100% sure but I think Duncan has one of their own as well.
The CT valve will work best in lower rpms up to upper midrange & the ESR, its best suited for drag but not full drag though, kinda opens up to soon & kills some bottom end.
All machining on the Pro-x P/V cylinders are the same so either P/V valve will interchange & bolt up.

When you say it was ported by a no namer..are you saying it was reported, because all PC's are ported from Duncan.

If it may have been ported by someone who didn't know what they were doing, I would be extremely cautious. It may have been ported by Duncan and then hacked up by someone else. May be good for drag but nothing else. If they got the ports too high, then there is no turning back. Depends what type of riding you will be doing.
