Ok guys a few questions, I got no spark on my 88 250R I did all the checks per the service manual tried a know good ign coil, and got a good ground(.6 ohms). I saw on the old forum that that pulling the flywheel and spraying WD-40 on the stator helps? Also I ohmed the pulse generator and its good @ 133 ohms but when I check for voltage output from the pulse generator while kicking it over Im getting nothing! possible reason I have no spark? Any ideas?? :huh:

Yea, according to the diagnostic tree in the service manual thas was the reason for no spark....wrong.
A fellow co-worker has a stator/ pick-up coil assembly he lent me to try, I got spark, but damn I cant believe how weak spark is on this POS?!?! At least mike quad starts now!!!
