This was dropped off at the curb the other day, all the way from the corn huskers state. it's a 90% original '86 with the exception of a few bolt ons which include a lonestar axle and hubs, durablue locking hub, new itp tires and wheels, pro taper bars, six pack rack, graphics kit, nerf bars rad valve and fmf fatty exhaust. everything else is original.

the engine has been run a total of five minutes since its arrival. before riding it, the process of tearing it down and going through and checking everything out has begun. stating with the front suspension. next will be the engine and ect ect. should turn out to be a great quad.

You must have got a smokin deal to have it shipped that far. 86 R's are plentyful in every area.

Any plans besides refreshing?

the current plan is to rework the engine this will include having neil to perform his magic on the cylinder. ;) for the time being the stock a-arms and shocks will remain untill a set of a-arms and shocks can be found for it. the quad is basically going to be used for weekend riding of sorts.

btw: im in need of any brand of regular travel +2 or +3 a-arms and doesnt matter if the ball joints or pivot bushing are bad. i'm also in need of a set of yfz or 450r oem shocks that are priced decent. lemme know what you have. thanks in advance

Damn, I was gonna try to sell him my Ohlins....If Dave hadn't mentioned that the thread was old, I WOULD HAVE!!
