Anybody know where I can get a brand new headlight for my 88R? Does Honda still make them? Could a 250x/300ex headlight bolt in?

Or hell do any of u know if it would be possible to mount a 250X/ 300EX headlight and housing to a R?

My 86 had a headlight but I bought a 88 hood and installed the light in it. Just got tired of it being cracked up, looking like crap, and collecting moisture. Would love a brand new headlight.

The headlight from a 300ex will work the only thing different will be the adjustment screw on the bottom of the headlight. The 300EX will not have the adjustment screw the way you are going to adjust will be by tightening the two bolts that hold the light to the hood.

I epoxy a tab onto a 300ex light for the adjustment screw, it works great. I have been using one for years as the 300ex lights were 1/2 the price of an R light back when they were both available
