But I need a sparky stinger to ride some trails around here. He told me esr makes them now, I was just wondering if anybody had/report on them.. Is your legal sparky??

I contacted them earlier this week and they had said that the TRX71 porting and TRX71 pipe are currently available. The new spark arrestor/silencer, unfortunatly, isn't finished yet.

The only bolt on spark arrestor that I know of is Cobra "Sparky" Spark Arrestors. I bought one for my FMF Power Core II silencer a couple years back. I "tried" to get into the dunes with just the silencer, but of course was denied. So I bought the Cobra "Sparky" Spark Arrestor at Dune Land, which is the dune motorsports store, and paid $80

No no no... I'm currently running a FMF Turbine Core Silencer, which is a spark arrestor/silencer, with a ESR TRX5 pipe. I had the "Sparky" on a FMF Power Core II, which is just a silencer, on a FMF Fatty pipe. What I'm trying to tell you is, if you have to be spark arrested, look for a FMF Turbine Core first before you go and buy the Sparky. And also, who knows how long it will be before ESR is finished with their new spark arrestor/silencer, and on top of that, how much it will cost.

Yes. ESR TRX5 w/ FMF Turbine Core. Fits great. The only thing that I can think of is, the ESR silencer has its own mounting brackets, whereas, if you use the FMF Turbine Core it utilizes the stock mounting brackets/hangers, so you will need those.
