The guy who built the bike said since he was planning a duner build, he didn't order the fireball swinger with skid plate mounts, however I'm not afraid of a little drilling/tapping, so I figured I would probably reach out to Fireball and see if it's a modification I can pretty easily do myself, then order their skid

For swing arm skid plate mounts it would be much better to sacrifice the pc & weld mounting tabs on it rather than drill/tap any of the chromoly tubing. It's not that thick so with the abuse a swinger skid takes it wouldn't take long before the bolts came loose if they were just threaded into the tubing.
