have the quad all apart, and before I can put it all back together I need the bolt for the swingarm,the steering stem bearing ,
and I know theres something Im forgetting so I will update this later tonight
anyone know where to get the deal

Hollink in Spencerport has a really good parts deprtment too. Im always suprised what they have in stock. In fact they had a swingarm bolt I needed in stock once.

the internet is cheaper plus It comes to the door ,I just wanted to see if someone had some new old stock they may not be needing before I order it from bikebandit

it was only like 17 bucks with the clip and everything from bikebandit and its OEM ,
there swing arm bolt is 69 bucks though theres a few on ebay that are OEM for like 35
,so all in all 50 or so + shipping good thing it didnt cost much to powdercoat

had to cut the old bolt off and I bought all new bearings last yr but never bought the S/S kit was waiting til I powdercoated it to buy -
-wasnt sure if I would be reusing this frame but I figured screw it
it gave me something to do when the kids were driving me and the misses nuts ,just went out 1 night
took it all apart blasted everything and worried about the little things later which brings me to this point
of needing the little things

only a retard would leave things on something about to be coated

been a painter of many types for 15 yrs or so ,started in cars was fun but no money ,went to construction got paid well but 50 hrs a week + sucks with kids ,so now Im a industrial finisher
and so far no complaints will be doing this for a long time
the most fun I have had painting in a while I hate to even say they call it work

400ex swinger bolts are only 30 bucks. They are identical to size to the 250r. I cant say if they are the same material or not, but the 400ex bolt never broke on me, the 250R one did.

I will have pics soon enough ,,trust me I removed everything ,,I ment the coating was cheap because I only had to buy the powder-and its always the little things that add up 20 here 50 there adds up but when you do all your own finishing the little things aren't so big -my A.D.D, kicks in and I get tunnel vision with only 1 thing in mind,
gettin it done, I can still use my old bearing and seals ,but why, its all apart so out with the old and in with the new for 20 bucks its cheap insurance---thats what this is all about good fun

Keep in mind 450r pivot bolts/nuts will work also, and can also be easy to find.

you do w/e ya want ,..sh!t can happen ,I never broke an OEM swingarm bolt yet & I've beat on 'em pretty good at times over the years
I would use only OEM trx250r swingarm bolt ..but just me ..
.. even Bill could tell you about breaking a 400ex swingarm pivot bolt ..used on a 250r

Since you guys are on the topic of 250r swingarm bolts. I picked up two. One has an hole in the center all the way through it and the other is solid. So which one is factory. Or are both of them 250R just from different years?

i never broke a oem swingarm bolt an im a fucking dumbass lol about a 7ft. fmx jump over an over lol i broke shocks tho
