a real quad ....they always come back !!!
:p
the yamaha decals gotta go
nice tires tho
yah it originally had a 426 engine in it. Those pics were taken by the previous owner.

on the jrd frame you can run w/e motor you want by swapping motor mounts.

heres a video.

I must say this is the fastest quad i have ever ridden.. too much snow here so i had to take it down the road and test it out..i must say.."wow". Has the 310 non PV cylinder , v force reeds, ESR TRX5 pipe/silencer, CR250 ignition (wow)....

watched the video sounds decent ...but what for gearing ?
what cylinder bore / piston size?
Thats hot. Ive wanted one of those jrd frames for awhile.
Nice looking bike. I like the color of the a-arms.

yah im pretty impressed with how its built..its alot beefier than any of my LSR frames ever were. I dont see ever havin a problem with it cracking.

Do you know whats up with why JRD doesnt have a website?

gearing... looks like 14/35. i counted quickly..was kinda dark in the garage.

and about the bore size, no idea, i just emailed him to see what size piston was in it.

I'll let u know
if it was a strait up trade, you got the better end of it for sure
theres a topic on ex riders right now talking about the jrd contact info
his e-mail is
[email protected]
thats the only info that was there and there a roll design copy
Yah the JRD site hasn't worked for at least a year now.
It's funny seeing quads that other members have had being posted by their new owners.
I hopy you got a good deal on it.

My frame that's getting built is going to have an interchangeble motor system. Right now it'll only
be 250R/CRF450, but Im' sure it wouldn't be hard to ge a yami or similar motor in there or even
a kawi tecate 4.

Good luck with it. Are you planning on changing anything on it? The first thing I do when I buy
someone elses quad is rip off any decals or identifying marks cause I want it to be how I like.
ya your loosing HP and reliability with those yammi decals

Now David, how do you know that aint a Yamaha top end  . The same cylinder we use on the 250Rs, Pro-x has one just like it for the YZ250 Yamahas.

Man that quad has been around, lol. It originally started out as a jrd 250r, but then i built it with the YZ426.

Well, i ended up trying my buddys CRF motor out in it.....i must say its not a 310, its fast alot of torque.....but i have decided to still keep the 310 motor. going to have neil port it, and im redoing the rest of it to make sure its 100% for this year. Also im going to tear this thing down and powdercoat everything again, im pretty picky about it. Want it to look brand new.

Heres a pic of it with the 4-stroke motor.... it now is coming apart though
