Well here's my baby. It's not nothing fancy or out of the ordinary, but I have big plans for it.

-87 frame powder coated red-
-86 motor with fresh topend-
-Pro Circut pipe and silencer-
-Ac pro-peg nerfs, bumper, and grab bar-
-K&N filter-
-Full skids-
-Renthal bars-
-Maier race cut plastic-
-Razr's at all 4 corners with older douglas rims-
-Troy racing graphics-
-A couple go fast stickers to top it off-

Things to come
-265 or 310 kit-
-PEPS all the way around-
-Legears or burgard A-arms, swinger, and stem-
-Hopefully a legear frame-

I got it about 4 months ago. So far other than small thinga all it's needed is a top end which i just replaced

O yeah I forgot to ask ya guys, I just got some money back I loned my sister so I was wondering what I should invest in for the R. I've got about 300 to spend. I was thinking VF3 reeds and some Tag T2 handle bars but I'm not real sure. Thought i would ask the experts. Thanks guys

great looking quad dude... Well I don't know what a 250r motor runs like, but my 310 is crazy!!! You'll like the power...

i'd go with a used RAD valve and get a new set of reeds for it, used 38mm keihin carb, and a new uni filter. should have enough change left over to get a small handful of jets. those mods will work well with the 310(when you get it).

What's the difference between the trx rad valve and the cr? I found a trx on ebay and the guy wanted 200 for it with reeds, then I got on bvc to check on there and I think there's was like 170 give or take some. I'd probable just go ahead and get a new one cause I hardly see them forsale used. Also about the carb does anyone have one they'd be willing to let go for a decent price.

Another question is if I get the rad, carb, and switch to the uni, how drastic would my jetting change? I'm running a 170 main right now with the cold weather and when it was warmer I was running a 168. I'm located in Richmond Indiana not sure what the elevation is. Thanks for all the help guys.

Nice start man- welcome to the R brotherhood. These guys on this site are the best to help with this kind of stuff.

I recently saw a used 38 air stryker carb somewhere either on this site or atvriders.com.
