'87 - I bought this about a year ago and just replaced a bunch of parts, and made some changes. After finishing it up, you have to show it to somebody, right? Let me know your thoughts. I have replaced almost every bolt on this quad. Motor is completely rebuilt top and bottom, thanks to my new Arkansas friends from this site. Working on Lazer Star light mounts.

Thanks guys- I know the K&K Graphics are pretty common and I was thinking about changing them but the colors are perfect. It's kind of "off the shelf" but I really like it. I had the beads powdercoated the same color as the frame.

I have some Lazer Stars and I want to mount them for sand riding at night. I have a bar mount for them but I don't like the looks of it. If anyone can help me, please let me know.

Thanks again- I had a YFZ 450 and people thought I was crazy for getting rid of it and getting a 330R. This thing is much more fun to ride.

You are right, the k and k graphics do a nice job tieing the blue and red together.

Try to find a small job shop type of machine shop. They may be able to hook you up. Or find a friend with a mill. I'll have one hooked up in a few months, but I'm not experienced with it at all.

Here's a suggestion. Take a small block of billet. Thread one side for the fender support stud and thread the other side 90 degrees from it for your lights. It might look hokie but it would be worth a try. If it worked, you could then have a machine shop cut out the excess areas to make it look nice.

I don't think you're crazy for trading up your YFZ450 for a 330R, I just did the same thing a few months ago! Your R is looking really good, I love the polished engine.

89- Front tires are GBC I believe- 21", rears are Scat Trak haulers. I love the 330- I am sold on it. It's a CT 330 kit.

86 - Thanks for the compliment on the polished motor- CT touched it up for me when I sent it out to them.

Thanks a bunch guys- I appreciate it very much- and thanks to those guys who helped me on this, mainly David Humphrey (8dave3) for teaching me how split and rebuild an R motor.

Dewey, the bike looks great. You know your way here by now and are welcome anytime.Hopefully, next time you are here it will be with the whole bike and not just the engine.Give me a call when you get her broke in fully and have some time on it.
BTW,this guy is serious about his R.He drove over 4hrs one way 2 different times(once to split the cases and once to put them together). All to learn how to do it himself.Dewey,if the need arises and you need help again, you have my number.
