I was looking for some OG Selvys decals to add to my seemingly always ongoing build (which already includes a few Selvys parts) and I came across these OEM fenders awhile back with some vintage decals in amazing shape. The fenders were not outrageously priced at all and I was pleasantly surprised when I received them because the stickers appear to be authentic and still in very good shape. Anyone know who rode #8 back in the days? I really just wanted to share because nobody knows what an R is where I live… Now all I need is a Selvys silencer!

Cool old school build! Those OEM fenders look to be in great condition, too. I have no idea who #8 was, so I can’t help you there. But if you’re still looking for Selvy’s stickers or even a Selvy silencer, you can get them. Rob’s sister, Cyndi, can help you out with the stickers (and shirts, too). The silencer would come from Kenny Roberts - he’s the builder behind Rob’s pipes/silencers. I don’t know if Kenny has always built them, but he has for many, many years and still does, even after Rob’s passing.

Thanks for the info, the silencer has been on my list for awhile now and I have yet to find one. The fenders were in great condition and pretty much perfect other than a bit of dulling on the shine so it was definitely a good find.
