Here is some pics of my Mom's bike. I've been working on it for quite a while now and I'm getting close to having it done. I finally have all the parts, I just have to assemble it. This started as a quick frame swap that went to full custom. Since it was already down that far, why not powder coat the frame. Since we're pc the frame why not the rest of the stuff. If everything is pc'd we'll have to add some chrome and some polish, etc, etc, etc.

Candy Blue Metalic PC
Polished cases and cyl.
Chrome what couldn't be polished

I'll add some more photos as I Progress.

Who does your chrome and polishing? It's been awhile since I used the guys in Visalia. I had a pipe done at western chrome in Fresno about 2 years ago. They were pretty good, but I worked in fresno at the time and now I work in Tulare. Just curious.

I am doing most of the polishing myself. We had Morenos Polishing and chrome do the engine and all the chrome. Total cost $1200. Golden State Coatings did the PC $500

I have some updated pics.... but I took them with our Canon and they are too big to upload. I don't know how to resize. I'll try and figure out how.

Thanks, Yes, shocks are from my wifes DVX 400 ( same as a Z). When this R was mine it had Fireball +2's and TCS triples, I was looking one day and realized the geometry on the DVX was the same as the TRX. The only difference was the tie rod ends. I used the everything from the R and put it on my wifes DVX. Then decided to re-do moms bike, I found the lonestar arms on ebay with 89 hubs, spindles, brakes complete for $300 to my door. Had the arms re-chromed and the rest powder coated as you can see on the bike. I needed shocks and best I can figure the length of the stock dvx arms in conjuction with the extra weight should make these good on +2's on the R. I should have the rest of the bike assembled this weekend. I'll keep you posted.

It is candy blue but its a little different than normal. The base coat is a different silver than normal, a little brighter than recommended. Also we added mica flake into the candy. It looks awsome in direct sunlight.

I've seen a women with nitrous on her utlility quad flyin at dirt drags ..if she didnt have a wheelie bar ..
