Throwing it out there. I’m still searching for an 88 or 89 250r (looking for a red as well as white model). I’m located in Indianapolis but will travel for the right one. Craigslist and EBay have been quiet lately. Anybody have one their ready to find a new home for? Thanks!

I don’t have a set budget yet. I guess the right deal will feel good, or won’t work. I’m looking for a rider, but not a 30 year old rode hard put away wet machine. May entertain a resto project too. Thanks!

Clean 88 near me for $4k right now, all stock. He says he has extra OEM plastics as well selling separate. Not sure what the market is for them right now, guess it’s supply/demand right? It’s in Chino Hills, CA.

It’s on OfferUp and CList. Search TRX under 92870 zip. It’s in there. It’s an app so I don’t have a link for you but here is a screenshot.

Arcticrob, have you found a 250r? I built these to ride, no garage queens. If I haven't rode them by May, they are For Sale. 2 with white plastic are 88's, every bearing and seal has been replaced. Red plastic is a 89, it was assembled when I got it but the motor is fresh. DSC01883.JPG DSC01886.JPG DSC01891.JPG

Thanks Aged1. I was really wanting to find a totally stock unit, but you’ve got my interest. Any idea on what you need out of them?

Arcticrob, did you find one? I have an 1989 tossing around getting rid of. I am the second owner. My friend bought it new. He rode it for 4 years, then put it on the shelf for 24. It is very, very clean. All original. No broken plastic. Tires are original. Backs are about half gone. Fronts are pretty good.
