Dude we'll roast in July but let me know when you are going and I'll meet up with you. 8dave3 and I have been talking about going again in about three weeks.

The weather was perfect- 74 degrees. Didn't see but one other 250R there the whole weekend. It would be awesome to have a huge group of them out there tearing it up- we should schedule an annual trip down there for riders on this site that ride there-

I can get a 250R.net banner made, and have some grills going- it would be cool.

Wow. I'm surprised that you didn't see any R's there. Out here in the California dunes, there is always a few R's around.

Saw one other and that was it. Saw one KTM, a few KFX's- and a ton of TRX's and YFZ's and of course the usual Banshee's.

It cool though cause some of these kids out there don't even know what they are-it's funny. But they all say the same thing- nice quad and damn that thing is fast!

My company has a plant over in Paso Robles- I have seen the Pismo signs when I go over there- I would love to make a trip to California some day to check out the riding there and at Glamis. It's a haul though from Dallas. Do you see a lot of R's out there for sale? I don't see many here.

Yeah, there is a lot of them for sale out here. If you look in the cycle trader, there are probably 15 of them.

Hey, I live north of Waynoka in Kansas and go down the about five or six times a year. Let me know when you are heading down there again, I might be able to make it into a small trip. We usually go in the spring and fall but meeting up with some R guys would be fun anytime.
Also if you get a banner made tell me. I might wana get one, half of the kids that ride around like you guys said almost don't know the difference between a nut and a bolt, so they have know idea about the R's

OK guys we have some momentum building- let's talk about dates. Are we talking fall sometime or sooner? I know I won't be able to wait that long- I am waiting on my Arkansas buddies to let me know when they are going,will proably be in June. But I will go again in the fall if we want to schedule a big ride.

Lets figure this out and get a plan going. I can always get up there early if needed to get some camping spots.

My kid is due this fall so as much as I want to go this fall I probably shouldn't. I'm wanting to go in June sometime. I need to check the race schedule, to make sure I don't say a race weekend.
