Well, I don't have a regulator right now and was wanting to know what the voltage was on a good, working lighting coil right off of the stator.

Ok. Well I'm getting less than 1 volt out of it. Guess I'll be looking for a new stator. Thanks guys.

Does anyone know the voltage of the lighting coil (white/yellow wire) directly out of the stator (before the regulator)?

First before spending $$$'s check your stator by using an OHM meter; use the <200 OHMS scale, disconnect stator wire harness completely from Frame or other connections. Ground one end of the OHM meter to stator aluminum frame, the other to the Black/White wire...a good stator reads 100-180 OHMS; most in the 125-165 range.

I mean, it runs great, just have nothing coming out of the lighting coil side. The bike didn't have lights when i got it, so I'm trying to make this work and put lights on it. Thanks
