It's nothing compared to blasterman's sweet drag bike.. but it's coming along as a dune/hill drag bike. Just added the +6 swing arm.
Never would have thought i'd own a blue honda! :huh:

heres my new rigid we just finished, the chassis we built and the motor is a 431cc Puma on Methanol.... Almost done, lacking seat cover and cusstom paint....

no not yet, first race is at Avenal down by bakersfield Oct 11, and then the big race, Planetsand drags west coast shootout at the AVI casino in Laughlin NV.

I think its a complete CR500 engine, but I could be wrong. I think he posted awhile back that he bought a quad with a CR500.

That's it. It's a 87 cr500 in a lonestar frame.
It was a well build bike. But I have already changed some things to meet my picky standards. I have a long list of things that will be addressed this winter.

How does that cr500 motor run. I heard they vibrate like crazy and crack the motor mounts and frame. Was it getting that motor to fit.

Here is my cr500 in a 400ex frame.

The vibs to the rider wasnt a problem, we kept having the pipe crack, and the a-arm bolts always vibrated loose. but it really wasnt as bad as many people say.

For a drag bike, Its a 500cc 2 stroke so it holds its own just fine. But a decent running 330 will lay the smack down on a ported 500. They are all low end power so for a drag race they just arnt what you would expect.
