Kill switch wiring

I currently run an old ProDesign tether kill, the stock button setup is long gone. I do harescrambles and I'd like to wire in a dirtbike style kill button along side my tether so that I don't have to keep reconnecting as I'm warming the bike up on the line. Has anyone wired both types of kill connections in at the same time that could possibly guide me on the wiring setup?

Wire it right in like normal
Yeah all the tether kill does is add a closed (rather than an open if i remember) circuit so that the bike thinks you turned the OEM switch off when the tether is out.

Thanks, I'll have to take a look. I got the bike 10years ago as a former race bike so I'm sure most of the wiring is far from identifiable to the stock form. I wasn't sure if I could just get a regular CR250 kill button and just tie it into the wiring of the teather kill. I've honestly never seen what the stock bar switches look like at the wiring side. So I wasn't sure where I would have to mate the non ground wiring side of a kill button.

put other side right into tether wire or its black with white wire

Thanks for the suggestion! Sounds pretty straight forward. I'm sure I'll find a way to mess it up :rolleyes:

Just a follow-up, got everything taken care of this weekend. Did exactly as stated and tied the B&W into the existing kill switch wire and crimped on an end to the ground, mounted to the radiator bolt. Worked perfectly, thanks!
