I'm in the process of buying a trx 250r and I called about one tonight and the owner said the only thing wrong with the quad is the kick start slips once in awhile. I've got an 86 ATC 250r and am quite familular with these motors my question is how common is the kick starter gears slipping? Anyone have both the kick starter gear and ratchet in good shape for sale?
