I just bought a 87 and it is still getting broken in. Jetted rich for now the guy said. It bogs in about any throttle postion and I was wondering where to set it to start(after break in). It has a full fmf exhaust and I will put in the boysen rad valve sent with the quad. I also might switch to the lrd team b full exhaust that came with it(it is carboned up, is that still useable?)

I'm at about 1000 feet and ride in between 500 and 1500. Average temp of 50-90 degrees f. 34 mm kehlin pj carb, will be removing airbox lid. Don't know the current jetting. Do I need to use OEM jets? I read they were manufactured better?

start with a 45 pilot and a 160 main with the needle in the middle position to begin with and do a plug chop on it afterwards and yes you should use keihin jets.
