Still using newer stock intake boot and its seen better days. Seen a couple different ones on ebay for about the same price. One is aluminum and the other is like the stock one but is for a bigger carb. Which one is best or is there something better? Thanks

I use a CR250 intake. It fits the bigger carbs good except it is shorter than the TRX intake which can cause issues with air box and boot fitment.

As far as the UPP or alloy one. Probably just depends on your personal preference. Do you like colored or polished. One hose clamp or two.

I am picking up a 2001 CR250 intake boot tomorrow. ESR said it was what they sell. My stock one was too long for the airbox removal kit.
Also note that the 2001 intake has reed stuffers. It's part of the manifold that sticks through into the reed cage. I don't know if that will be a problem for you, but you may want to check with ESR again on that.
