Well everybody, Uncle Sam gave me marching orders last week. I'm being stationed in RAF Mildenhall England! I have a 3 year tour. I looked into taking my quads I can just there are mostly MX tracks and very few trails. Anybody know or have been over their? Could be a great opurtunity to advertise for our site...

I was stationed at RAF lakenheath for 3 years between 97-00. Lakenheath is about 10 miles from mildenhall so I can tell you somethings about it. You are right about quads though not many places to ride besides tracks. I had a jeep when I was there and there is a couple of off road clubs that go to these places that you pay to get in like old gravel pits and stuff. I saw atvs at those places every now and again. It is a very nice assignment you will have a great time. Nice pubs to drink at the locals are friendly and awsome places to visit. I would be still stationed there doing consective overseas assignments if it was up to me but the wife wanted to go back state side. You should check into quadtech.co.uk and see if you can get some quad tech hoods to send stateside.
Apparently they don't ship overseas.

I use to live at Vandenburgh also. Nothing like going to down town Lompoc.lol My cousin was there also. he just died last summer in a motorcycle accedent. He was riding along the interstate there and went over one of the cliffs down the the ocean. I went from there to Aviano Italy.
