Heading out to Glamis tomorrow morning. If any of you guys see two red R's with factory 88 stickers, a young guy, and an old guy. I'm the young guy and my Dad is the old guy. Come on over and say hello. We are camping on Gecko, not too far from the drag strip. I don't spend a whole lot of time at Olds. Usually take a break there while heading too and from Boardmanville, or just during a long ride.

Had a good trip. Didn't see dunemobbster's black and green R. Threw my chain during a ride, bound it up real good, and cracked the upper case save mount. We just towed it in to fix it. Pulled the swingarm loose to get the chain out and then overtighted the swingarm bolt and broke it off. So that was the end of my R riding for the weekend. Had to jump on the Z400 that we took for a spare. Damn that thing is heavy. I was using a pivot works swingarm bolt. Seemed pretty weak. I'm gonna have to order one from OEM, or a special one from somebody. Any one use the chromoly or stainless ones? I think baldwin, walsh, and gibson have them.

Lonestar has one for $65 and the OEM one is 75$. I'll check out JL's catalog.
