hey guys. I'm trying to order a new set of plastics for my R but i'm confused. I visited Maier, Fullbore, and Laker. Maier has me confused however. I'm wanting red plastic, I really want the same bright red color the new hondas have like the 450r or CRs. Maier offers several differant types of red. Red, Fighting Red, and Explosion Red. Obviously the "Red" is the old skool OEM shade but fighting and explosion are both later model shades. Which one would match the 450r's better? Also is the fullbore and laker red plastics bright or a dark red? Hard to tell from pics on sites.

I think the fullbore red is close to the standard maeir red. As far as the explosion and fighting, I don't know. You could try ording the hoods or tank covers first, and see how you like them.

I believe "Fighting Red" is the color that Honda used on the 250R frames and plastic

Lookin good. From the front angle it loooks darker than normal red and from the sides it looks more orange than normal red. Good job trimming them plastics. The maier race cuts are so ugly. Better off to trim them yourself.
