I had to pull my rear caliper off to install a bracket that the atvguy sold me and shipped very fast, great service, great parts source !!

Anybody know why I found one piston with a steel coin in it on top and the other one is hollow and without a coin?

The parts diagram does not show any coins?

Am I missing a coin, are none supposed to go on there? Or do I need 2 even though not in parts diagram?

Thanks in advance.......

Thanks for the tip American Opel !!

UPDATE:

A local mechanic who knows the TRX250R quite well said those discs are added for more even pressure and yeah not necessary but nice.

UPDATE: atvguy had one and is sending it !!!!!!

Does anyone have the specific height measurement for the disc? I broke them while rebuilding my caliper. Or will I not see too big of a difference when braking with out the disc?

Dyl, I rode for years with an unbalanced condition of having even only one disc and still stopping on a dime because the brake pads wear to adapt to the condition, I think the discs installed offer a very slight advantage but don't stress if you don't have them I think and I've been told.
