Degreeing in & re-porting starts at 250.00, drag type porting is higher.
You say it has very little time on it, is it enough time that it might need a piston fitted. Reason I ask, I like to do any porting wanted when a piston needs replacing, just makes for a better job.

Man it is so easy for those carbides to jump out of a port window & scratch the bore it aint even funny. I try best as I can & carefull as I can be but it happens sometimes. Just makes the whole job look junky to me when it does but it dont hurt performance any, just looks.
Oh, I dont scribe , when I do a port or a re-port I pull some meat out of them bad boys, they gona know I been there. When I get done she'll be good for gas or alky.
