My uncle ran a cooling fan on his 370. It was a mess of wiring but it worked. I think it was a 12v fan so he had to use a rectifier and a small battery.

450rs have or had (Im not sure if they stopped using them or not) they did not have a battery, I would think you could pick one up on ebay.
Good idea. Look into a fan off of a 04-05 450r. You need one that is set up to run on AC current, not 12v DC.

man this would be sweet i want a setup so bad.its on my summer fix up to do list. after you figure it out put a how to so everybody else can do it. personally this would offer some peace of mind to some duners no matter how accurate the jetting is knowing that there is a fan cooling it also helps.

got it on it works ok, at idle its alittle slow, but since its running of of the headlight circuit it picks up speed as rpms increase. tommorrow is the real test to see if it holds up to woods riding. not gonna be able to tell yall numbers right now, temp strips didnt come in time. but as soon as i get some numbers i will post them. also will post pics then too

sweet! that sounds cool man. i wonder if with a higher output stator it would work better? also a switch would be a good idea because when the motor is first starting up it doesnt need more air or is it fine like that?
