ok so my engine is in its now a 350 non pv with a +3 mm stroked longrod crank. anyways i just got the new carb i have a mikuni 38mm tmx that just came in now i was running the stock carb before but i have twist throttle and it seems like the cable isnt going to work with the carb i now have. im not real sure what it is i need to do to make it work with my new carb. anyone have any advice???

you'll probably need a new cable for the 38 tmx. i know i needed a specific cable for a twist and keihin carb

I have a 38 tmx carb and a motion pro twist throttle. I just called motion pro and told them what carb I had and what throttle I had. They sent me a cable that worked.

thats the best thing to do. i've called them before and had one special made for a 250/400 Rex with no troubles. while your at it get two. good to have a spare.

i have no ideal who makes my twist throttle i know it isnt motion pro but it is chromed kinda gay actually but i have to deal with my budget and wait to get a new one ok so i will order a new cable
