Quick question, so I just recently picked up this 1986 250R (431 Puma). Today while doing some maintenance I realized the LED Puma pipe, right near the hanger is cracked pretty bad and letting exhaust out. Looking to remedy, please let me know thoughts on the following questions:

1. Could this be epoxied/JBWelded/Patched some how?

2. If not, is this a situation where I should have it re-welded? Or should I just grab a new pipe from LED for $250-$350?

I saw your post on Facebook as well. Like they said, have it tig welded and add a rubber mount exhaust hanger to prevent future cracking.

Thanks man, I've got some rubber mounts on the way and welder taking a look at it tomorrow. Thanks again for your help.

Is that mounted directly to the frame with no rubber damper? If so, that's probably why it cracked.
