An interesting fact about "snake oil salesman ".... They would hide in the crowd around a competitor and make statements and accusations about the other salesmen and his products to get the crowd to turn on the competitors. They would also orchestrate these attacks on real legitimate traveling salesmen to drive them out of town so they would be the only game in town. They would also find and pay collaborators to heckle the competition to turn the crowd of potential customers to the dirtbag "snake oil salesman ". The collaborators would also be in the crowd in front of their employer offering testimonials on how amazing the products are. They would then verbally attack any naysayers who called the "snake oil salesman " what his product truly was...Junk!
Sounds like someone on here doesn't it............
Apparently there are a few guys on here who make a lot of noise in most of the threads, and yes I know who you are referring to. At least the header flange I bought worked out for me. Now if someone from ESR would jump into this forum, we would have words. My TRX9 went straight back to them as it was defective in more ways than one.

ESR is a site sponsor on trx250r.org so you can pm him over there or give him a call if you have an issue. I personally have had great success with ESR. Hell Eddie came out to the trx250r.org group ride at the Winchester bay dunes in Oregon. He sat in my camp and freely talked about 250R'S in between rides. I thought he was a pretty good guy.

I should have worded my comment more craft-fully as the issue with ESR was corrected immediately and he seems upset he is having QC issues with pipes at the moment.
I was not referring to Eddie when I said I know of the guys on this forum who argue, so thats my bad.

Eddie has been good to BDT, and we purchase quite a few 'Raw' cylinder kits that we Port & Flow for our customers, I am told more than any other builder.

IMO in the last year his QC has improved significantly, I now prefer to build BDT engines using his 'Raw' Cylinder Kits than using CP Industries.

As a one man shop Eddie is trying his 'Best' to survive, and make 250R parts. BDT will continue to support any manufacture that caters to the 250R Legend.
