Does anybody know what volts are supposed to come out of the stator at idle after you floated the grounds because im getting 3v out of the yellow/white and 4v out of the floated wire then after the regulator rectifier in getting like 6v dc and drops to 2-3v when revved up. Bike still runs good just kinda chasing that problem. Thanks in advance

You don't need to float the ground on a stock OEM Stator as long as you run through a battery and regulator/rectifier....done it at BDT Motorsports for customers dozens of times. Trail Tech as mentioned by keefer250r is a good source for both the battery & regulator/rectifier. With this set-up; you can run an LED bar, and eliminate the lights from diming at idle and becoming bright as you throttle up...they stay a constant 'brightness' from idle to WOT. Carlos
Do you have to run a battery or could it be ran straight to headlight?
