the 2003 cr 250 i was riding and crashed on march 2nd. will not start. it feels like it may be low on compression. when you kick it over no air or anything comes out of the exhaust do you think i could have screwed the motor up (rings piston etc..) when i wrecked it? has anybody had a problem like this on a 2 stroke after wrecking with it?

Pull the spark plug out, stick your finger over the hole then kick the engine over & see what happens. If it blows your finger off the hole then that means the piston is moving. Could be something blocking the exhaust tip & not letting any presure out.

something could have goofed up in your kicker assembly too. i wouldbt be surprised if you found a big wad or dirt in the pipe either.
