If you need some cash you could always sell those OEM fenders you have. If they are still uncut you could get $750-$1000 for them. A guy on exriders apparently sold a set for $1K. JRspawn has a couple sets he was asking $900 or so for.

I remember on exriders a while back you asked about your footpegs and what year they were.
If I remember correct they were 88 pegs that you had an adapter to put on 87 footpegmounts. Could you post a closeup of that and any info you have - who made the adapters, where they came from etc. Thanks.

if you'll look at the later pics of the project over there---> at the other site you'll see how the adapters are configured. should be easy enuff to fab if none are avail for purchase. B)

Its good to see that I'm not the only one that went ESR crazy. My main vacation spot is Pismo Dunes, ESR's new shop is about 3 miles away. I just stood there and drooled at all the pretty parts on the wall. What cc is your engine ?

ESR used to be about 10 miles from me. Now it's 125. I was bummed when they left, now I have to pay shipping or catch them on a Saturday. I go to Pismo quite often, but only on weekends. I don't ride there as much as I used to. It's gotten too rough and crowded. Plus I've gotten spoiled by the dunes in Glamis, Dumont, and Oregon. They are so much bigger and better.

I had no idea you were a local guy. I live in Reedley, I feel your pain on shipping. Think you might have that thing done by Memorial Day? A friend of mine is a photographer for sand addiction magazine. They may be doing a UTV shootout at Pismo. If they do, I'm trying to talk him into doing some shots of my moms bike. If I could get a few custom R's there, I might fenangle some shots getting into the mag.

Yeah, I'm in Tulare, but this 87R rebuild isn't mine. That would be cool if Sand addiction did a photo shoot on some R's. Mine would need some new plastic and a lot of polish.
