450r suspension?

The fronts will bolt up fine, but will be really stiff if you are using stock a arms. I have +2 and they are better, but still plan to have them revalved/ resprung.Does anyone know if the shocks from a 450r will bolt up to my 250r?
Why do i need to revalve and respring them?
