I am in the process of trying to get the most out of my 350PV cylinder (CT racing). I switched the head to 17:1 uncorrected compression ratio. My question is, how much advance to make the most power before I am running the risk of detonation. Has anyone ever played with this? The ignition is all stock, and relatively new with only the Hinson timing adjustable counterbalancer holder. I was thinking of trying 2-3 degrees advance.
