I've personally never ridden one, but I'm pretty sure that is going to be my next upgrade. The PV is primarily for the type of riding that you do. The idea behind the PV is that it broadens the power band, and smoothens out the classic 2 stroke hit. This allows for less wheel spin, which means greater traction and more power to the ground, especially at lower RPM's.

Also, with a 310 kit you haven't gotten completely into big bore territory. What I mean by that is, you won't have to machine your cases, use a high flow/volume big bore exhaust, upgrade your tranny gears, upgrade your clutch, etc, etc. It is always a good idea to do those types of things when deciding to run a big bore of any kind, but with the 310 you can get away with the stock components, at least for a while.

I would rather have a 4 mil stroke 69 mm bore stock jug 285 cc. Set up right will take a 310 everytime and are cheaper to build. These are a fun little motor.

that will be a good runnin engine for sure but i'd only do it using a big bre sleeve thats used for the 295/310.

You should associate stroker with torque. In what application is more torque not good?
i agree about the torque... just read alot of other posts on other sites and had builders say the same thing about working better for drag machines.. But i could've miss interepreted them reffering to reliability???

hmmm vibration is an open subject in some ways ..
vibrations can come many different things ..related ..
poorly installed motor motor mounts (or lack of  ) & torque settings /looseness)
bad counterbalancer, sloppy internal parts /bad bearings/worn moving parts
just to name a few ....
my motor was rebuilt from every aspect including brand new OEM crank & many new peices throughout ,...so mine was smooth & tight feeling & didnt vibrate :) anymore than any other well built & properly installed motor in a good frame ;)
