Cheers! New member from Saint Louis, Missouri. I used to own a blue 86 back in 1986-89 and have been looking to restore/rebuild/find another TRX ever since then. Just found a neglected 1988 that has some cool flat track style parts on it and seems a good candidate for a restore. Came across this site and saw the treasure trove of information, so look forward to sharing the journey of this rebuild.

Affco front shocks, JP A arms and a FTZ pipe....Some good parts to start with...Are you going to keep it a flat track TT style and run some races with it?

My goal was to restore it to close as stock as possible, so no plans on racing it.

Will do! I am likely going to sell the A-arms, shocks and stabilizer bar. Undecided on the pipe as of now. Will reach out to you as I start to break it down.

Decent clean up; way better than what it was...make sure you keep it fully oiled. Use Virgin Olive Oil or WD40, keep pipe soaked.
