A small Mothers powerball with the extension chucked up in an old Black & Decker drill & Mothers aluminum polish is what I use on my 10" wheels. You can also use terry towels to apply Mothers by hand than use micro fiber rags to buff off the polish. If you want to make them even brighter polish them with Blue Magic aluminum polish after using the Mothers. Good luck & have fun. Keep an ice pack handy for your shoulder if you choose to polish them by hand.
What tools do you need to use to get inside a 8 inch rim. Would a grinder with couple polishing wheel and compound work. And tips or suggestions is welcome
First wear protective gear; mask, gloves and face shield...complete safety.
The bigger the cloth polishing wheels with the strongest motors will give you the quickest & best results. Polishing, just like most anything else is all about preparation of the surface prior to attempting the final polish. Ruff polish first....Course to fine compound, dedicated wheels and time & patience is in order.
