Agreed, not much, a Case Saver alone is not going to WIN a Race, however; it can make you lose one.

David Ham WON 5 different Race Series in AZ & CA through 2018-2019 Including 3 hour Desert Race Series aboard two Different BDT Engine Built Trikes, that's over 36 Races, more than anyone else, lost a few chains, uses a BDT Case Saver, Broken or Damaged cases; ZERO....needles to say Dave is one of the top Trike racers and awesome rider.

I have! The desert 100 in Oregon. 100 mile trail race on very rough terrain. I did it on my 1996 CR250 not a trx250r, but in the entire time I did not throw a chain. I have in the 30 years of riding ATV'S and dirt bikes had 3 chains come off and 2 of the 3 they broke the case saver bolt holes. I had aluminum case savers both times. I do not use cheap chains or cheap sprockets either. Proper maintenance is vital and second to that is a case saver that will not allow the chain to wad up around the counter sprocket. Upp case savers accomplish that aluminum case savers do not.

Yeah pretty cool huh. I had a blast and finished 3rd out of over 40 riders in my class. I also participated in a 24 hour team endurance race which consist of completing as many 20+ mile laps as you can in 24 hours. Several times me and 3 other fellas competed in events like that. We always placed in the top 5 in our class. We felt we were doing very well for ourselves. I can't ever remember anyone throwing a chain. And best of all nobody I have ever known or seen is running ant bdt crap! I suppose you have done better and feel more important because you have a bunch of shiny bdt stuff on your R. Well bud I gotta tell you that no matter how long you polish a turd it is still a turd. I can't wait to read your incoherent and illegible come back lol
