Ok so on my 86 trx I'm running short rod stock cylinder bored to 67.50 ported cylinder is decked and cool head. My question is what is the 4 mill stroker? My quad is healthy now so do I buy a 4 mil rod and put it on my crank or a 4 mil complete crank? What all would need done? Spacer plate underneath is all? Different porting? What would I notice with my setup now but with a stroker crank? Snap or what would improve. Any help would be appreciated
cylinder needsported for a stroker crank.you can have a co build it or buy hotrod crank.yes you willneed a spacerplate.yes you will be able to tell the difference.but if your crank is good would i go that route?no not really.due to needing case,clearanced,cylinder ported,and all the extra work.
