This thing rips! I found a Selvy pipe a few days later and paired it with the cylinder along with a Lectron 40mm carb and it took me awhile to dial in (because I’ve never used a Lectron, VERY easy by the way) but after that whooohoo, seriously. Talk about holeshot. I could not imagine putting this cylinder on an ATC, so much low/mid end that my front suspension rides almost completely unloaded down a straight. Not to mention it revs to the moon, even up hill under full load.

Man that R is slick! Glad that cylinder and pipe worked well. Sounds like the exact setup I'm looking to trade my big bore top end for.

Thank u sir, it was crazy how I found both the pipe and cylinder within days -they were meant to be together. I only wish I had a silencer to complete the package but very few people out here in NM even know what an R is, so I think I can manage to escape ridicule while out riding. I had a 310 re-sleeved oem prior to this and the smaller bore cylinders rev a lot quicker and you can really feel the difference after switching in my opinion. Also, now I know the difference between an “off the shelf” port job (not knocking anyone/brand) and a custom port job from a reputable builder, literally night and day difference.
