    Expansion chamber

    So I have a 87 trx but the Paul Turner pipe on it says 89. With the 89 being the longer stroke wouldn't that be incorrect tuning ?

    all 250r's have a 72mm stroke and 66mm bore.just the 87-89 are longrod.so you are fine.

    They raised the wrist pin to compensate for the longer rod 87-89

    '89 refers to the model of pipe. It's an ok pipe good low-mid poor top end.
    Laeger narrow, Protrax, cr500 link, 363
    Stock '88 frame, 265 pv and peps
    Another '88

    No...decent pipe for a stamped version; PT 89...use it as is.
