    Carlos, are these junk?

Transmission had a gear failure and this is the result. They are Yukon gears, and I'm curious if they are now paper weights?

They have a lot of damage, quite a few burs...I would not use them for a high powered engine, however; if you take a fine stone and remove all the burrs, and raised edges, they should be fine for a stock or semi-stock engine. My only other concern would be 'micro cracks' or 'stress cracks' not visiable to the naked eye. Best way to check is with a dye penetrant or magnuflux to expose any micro fractures.

Goodson Tools, offers that dye checking set up mentioned. Spray on, let it soak a few & put the light on it & your done, unless you find a crack.
