Oem parts available: Collar, drive gear now in stock

Exclusive to BDT Motorsports; we have aligned ourselves with the manufacture of numerous Honda OEM parts & components that have been discontinued including collars, washers, transmissions, forks, shift drums ect…internal engine components will remain available through BDTM even after they are discontinued.

Our first part is the OEM “Collar, Drive Gear” P/N 13617-HA2-000, ‘first article’ pieces arrived for inspection at BDTM and they look great, better than ever. They are ID & OD Ground, Heat Treated and made from the same High Quaity Steel.

We had one modification made; the internal portion of the Collar has been OD ground to accept a metric seal (o-ring) to prevent crankcase pressure seepage (leakage) through the crankshaft splines. This is a modification Honda had contemplated for 1990 and beyond; obviously it was never incorporated.

    Ok guys, here you go.
This is an area on a TRX250R engine, over looked by many, BUT, now we have a fix to the problem.
Dont forget to post a pic, of that main crank bearing specially machined, so that the Hot Rods cranks can be a slip fit into the clutch side bearing.
    Thanks Carlos, Neil

Yup, plus we need all the little 'detail' parts; like Collars, Washers, Spacers, ect...Shift Forks from the original Honda Forgings are in the Works, currently at Hard Chrome.

As far as cost for the 'Collar, Drive Gear' goes, I am waiting for the final invoice. The cost will be higher than what Honda was selling them for, we are not getting 100,000 piece runs made like Honda originally did, these are made in the few hundred piece lot run, and even at a few hundred it will take a few years to go through the stock...long term investment.

Cool Carlos. Nobody is gonna be riding R's if replacement parts aren't there.
