Dragged this home today

Had a 78 in high school and have wanted another late 70's Ford ever since. Found this locally on craigslist sitting in a barn. Doesn't need much to be a killer truck. Makes me grin every time I get to drive it, especially when my two year old is sittin' right next to me. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

It's getting new meats tomorrow and some headers and flowmasters next week. What do you think, keep the ford wagon wheels? I kinda like them. Anyone have any experience with ford crate engines? This has a tired 400 in it and I was thinking of putting a 351 crate engine in it or even a 302 or 347.

Need a swingarm measurement

Can someone please measure their stock 86 swingarm from the center of the swingarm pivot bolt to the center of the axle for me? Appreciate it.

The add says valved for 200-240lb rider on +1 a arms. I weight 185 and have +2 arms and occationally like to go big and need something that can soak up the landings. Do you guys think these would suit me ok as is? Also, is this an ok price? I'm not much of a suspension guy. Thanks

Ford F150 Extended Cab 4x4

I've been looking to get a new truck for a long time and have finally decided to get an 04-08 F150 with no more than 65k mile or so.

Any r-central members have a nice one for sale? I've found some ok buys in my area but it is hard as hell to get ahold of anyone to actually go look at a truck. I swear people post shit on craigslist and then get pissed when you call about it!
